ROSEVILLE, Minn. - Police say two men are dead after a shooting Thursday afternoon in a Roseville parking lot.

The incident happened around 4:15 p.m. on the east side of the REI store building located at 1975 County Road B2 West.

Roseville police were dispatched to the area around 4:15 p.m. Thursday on the report of shots fired and two men down in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and found the bodies of two men who appeared to have been shot.

One of the men, a 33-year old, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other, a 44-year-old, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with a life-threatening head injury. He died around 6:00 p.m.

Officers located a pistol near the body of the man who was transported to the hospital.
