MINNEAPOLIS - John Olson, founder of the advertising agency Olson, died Saturday following a 13-month battle with cancer, according to a statement released by his company.
Olson founded the Minneapolis-based advertising agency two decades ago, and it has since become one of North America's top five full-service digital agencies with more than 450 employees.
Olson's clients include Amtrak, Best Buy, MillerCoors, Northwestern Mutual, Target and Wrigley.
The statement released Saturday says the company already misses Olson's insights and relentlessly innovative spirit.
The advertising agency says they will create a digital wall where his friends, coworkers, and admirers will be able to share memories.
