SCANDIA, Minn. - Residents of Scandia and the surrounding area are likely breathing a sigh of relief after an alligator that was on the loose in a community lake was captured.
Reptile owner Will St. Sauver says he found the gator, named Bonnie, in Goose Lake.
St. Sauver's other alligator, Clyde, was shot last month by a D-N-R conservation officer.
The owner says someone released his pets into the lake but authorities are considering filing charges against St. Sauver for keeping unauthorized exotic pets.
