RIVER FALLS, Minn. - The dismantling of the home owned by Aaron Schaffhousen will begin on Monday.
Schaffhausen was convicted of killing his three daughters in the home.
Earlier this month, Affinity Plus Credit Union announced that it would take apart the home, sell the land and donate the proceeds to a park built in the girls' names.
The house will be dismantled piece by piece over 10 days, and the materials will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
Affinity Plus Credit Union acting-President and CEO Dave Larson tells KARE 11 the decision was made after discussions with Jessica Schaffhausen, mother of Amara, Sophie and Cecilia.
