MINNEAPOLIS - Curious about the white and blue smart cars popping up around Minneapolis?
It's car2go, a point-to-point car-sharing service, and it's arrived in the Twin Cities.
Car2go, a Daimler North America company, allows drivers to rent the vehicles by the minute. And, there is no specific location to pick up and return the vehicles.
The service does require a membership. Members use their smartphones to locate available cars and unlock the vehicle by scanning their membership cards.
