BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - Police in the north metro are investigating a deadly early morning shooting that left two men dead and a woman injured.
Brooklyn Center police officers were called to the area of 72nd Avenue North and Fremont Avenue North around 1:00 a.m. Monday.
Once there squads found two men dead and one woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police tell KARE 11 preliminary reports show the men are a father and a son, and the woman injured is the son's mother. She has been treated and released from the hospital.
Early indications are that the son fatally shot his father, then killed himself.
Investigators are questioning family members about the son and father's relationship for more information about what may have triggered the incident.
They are calling the incident a domestic issue and say the public is not in danger.
