Man killed in farm machine accident identified

COKATO, Minn. - A 54-year-old man who died of injuries sustained when his jacket became caug t in a corn chopper in the field Friday has been identified.

Wright County Sheriff's Deputies and the Cokato Fire Department responded to a farm accident in Stockholm Township near Cokato at about 6:40 p.m.

The man, identified Monday as Craig Wanous of Hutchinson, was trying to removing corn stalks plugging the corn chopper when he was pulled into the machine; he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sheriff's Office.
