NEW YORK - Bill Clinton made the mistake of being a little late to the first panel of the day at his annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting on Tuesday.
But Bono was on time.
So while the crowd waited, the U2 frontman took the microphone and the president's seat and launched into a really good Clinton impersonation.
"When I first met Bono, he walked into the Oval Office and I actually thought he was a member of his own road crew. He wasn't dressed right. Actually, I felt like the rock star on that occasion," Bono said, cracking up the audience.
Bono kept the audience entertained for a couple of minutes until Clinton arrived.
Clinton then joked, "I must be really easy to make fun of."
