LAKE CITY, Minn. -- Police say they have evacuated some residents from their homes and put a school on lock down while they respond to a standoff at a home in Lake City.
According to authorities, police have been on the scene since 5:30 p.m. They say they are negotiating with a man to come out of a house near the intersection of South 6th St. and Dwelle St.
As a precaution, officials have put nearby Lincoln High School on lock down. Students are not in the school, but those who were at sports practice on the fields were not allowed back inside.
