MINNEAPOLIS - The Happy Meal is coming back to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. McDonald's will return to the airport by the end of October after a two-year hiatus.
The Metropolitan Airports Commission executive director and CEO, Jeff Hamiel, said "A new McDonald's has been travelers' most frequent restaurant request since that company's contracted Delta Air Lines for stores on Concourse G expired two years ago".
The 1,800 square foot new store will be near the entrance to Concourse D building. They will employ 60 people and be open 24 hours a day.
