ST. PAUL, Minn. - The family of a man hit by a vehicle and left for dead last Thursday morning is asking for your help in tracking down who did it.
Wade Souster, 31, of St. Paul, remains in critical condition at Regions Hospital on Monday. He was hit some time after 3 a.m. near the intersection of Phalen and Atlantic on St. Paul's east side.
Souster suffered a brain injury as well as multiple fractures to his face, pelvis and leg.
St. Paul police say they need help from the public as they have little to go on in this case.
Souster's family is hoping for the same.
"Someone out there knows something. Someone saw something or noticed a neighbor's car coming home with damage that wasn't there before. Every little bit helps and when Wade wakes up he should have an answer," said Angie Hammerlindl, Souster's cousin.
Souster, who grew up in Inver Grove Heights, worked at the St. Paul Downtowner Car Wash for more than 15 years.
Donations on his behalf to pay for medical bills are being accepted at the car wash, which is located at 520 7th St. E.
