MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Lynx get to celebrate their second WNBA championship in three years with their fans on Monday.
Fans are invited to a parade through downtown Minneapolis and a championship celebration at the Target Center.
The parade will start at 12th Street and Nicollet Avenue in downtown Minneapolis and travel along Nicollet before taking a left on 7th street, before ending at the Target Center.
The parade starts at 11:30 a.m., with the championship celebration starting right after at 12:15 p.m. Doors open at the Target Center at 11:30 a.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
According to the Lynx, the championship celebration will begin with a video commemorating the season. Lynx owner Glen Taylor, along with Lynx players and coaches will then address the crowd.
