Minn. author shares life after Keiko the whale

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - He's a huge star who needed huge help.

Diana Hammond spent three years as the press secretary for Keiko the killer whale who we all know from the movie "Free Willy."

But, her resume extends much further than that, including five novels, the latest which was her first released as a Minnesota resident.

Now after her life with Keiko, Diane Hammond has a story to share, and visited KARE 11 Sunrise to talk about her new book, "Friday's Harbor."
