CALEDONIA, Minn. - A southeast Minnesota man is being treated for severe burns following a meth lab explosion in Houston County.
The Sheriff's Office says squads responded to a call of a meth lab explosion just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived on the scene deputies were told that the person responsible, a 50-year-old man, was seeking medical attention in La Crosse after suffering burns.
The man was later transported to a burn center for treatment.
Investigators later served a search warrant on the property and recovered evidence consistent with an active meth lab.
Authorities are withholding the name of the suspect while the investigation continues.
