EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - A deer wound up in an unlikely place over the weekend in Eau Claire.
A small buck charged through a window at the Clarion Hotel and Green Mill, not far from Interstate 94. General manager Eric Hoium went to investigate and found shattered glass and the frightened deer running around inside a meeting room Saturday evening.
"It was running around in circles and not very happy about being in there," said Hoium "It's pretty crazy I've never seen anything like that in my life."
WEAU-TV says animal control was called and the deer left the same way he came in.
Police said it didn't stop there. The young buck then went across the road and broke through another window at a home on West Hamilton Avenue.
At this point it is unclear if the young deer survived.
