BLAINE, Minn. - Blaine Police tell KARE 11 that an amazingly clear surveillance photo has led to the identification of an alleged bank robber.

The woman is not currently in custody, and investigators are actively seeking her whereabouts.

Squads were dispatched shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 23 on reports of a robbery at the TCF Bank inside Cub Foods, located at 12595-Central Avenue Northeast in Blaine.

Witnesses say the female suspect demanded money and then escaped in a full-sized blue conversion van driven by a man.

Surveillance cameras at the bank captured a clear image of the alleged robber, and Lt. Dan Szykulsk says at least three people called within hours of the release of the photo and identified the woman.

Szykulsk says charges could be filed early this week even if she is not in custody.

Blaine Police are asking anyone who knows of the woman's whereabouts to call them at 763-427-1212.
