GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - A pair of Minnesotans were knocked out in the Knockout Round of NBC's The Voice on Monday night.
Both Holly Henry and Ashely DuBose received very positive remarks from the judges, but the competition was fierce.
Henry performed "Creep" by Radiohead, but coach Blake Shelton decided to go with a contestant he had previously stolen from Team Adam. Adam Levine felt badly that Henry was leaving the show, but he ultimately chose not to steal Henry for his team.
"Guys...don't be sad. Don't be mad. This isn't even remotely the end. =]," Henry wrote on her Twitter account.
She said that Christina Aguilera gave her the pep talk of her life and that she only wished they would have shown more of it on the show.
Meanwhile, DuBose sung "Hey, Soul Sister" by Train. Coach Levine made it clear that it was difficult choice. The nicest comments came from Cee Lo Green, who said that DuBose had a star quality and that she could be something special.
"Thank you ALL for the love and support you've shown me on my The Voice journey! This is not the end! =D," Dubose said on her Twitter account.
