Cranberry Sauce recipe sent in by viewer, Tiffany Steinhorst
Orange Cranberry Sauce:
1 bag fresh cranberries (12oz bag)
1c. orange juice
1c. sugar (or less for more tartness)
Wash cranberries. Dissolve sugar and orange juice in sauce pan bring to a boil. Add cranberries and stir together on medium high heat until mixture is boiling again. Turn down to heat to a slow simmer/medium low for 10mins or so and cranberries start to "pop. (It's the "pop" that releases the pectin and makes the sauce thicken.) Turn off the heat and serve warm or move to refrigerator to cool until turkey and fixings are ready.
