ROSEVILLE, Minn. -- Hundreds of people showed their support Sunday for an army recruiter recovering from a hit and run accident.
A fundraiser was held at Calvary Baptist Church in Roseville for Army Sergeant First Class Travis Torgerson.
Sgt. Torgerson and Sgt. Michael Stroud were struck by a driver as they walked to their military recruitment center in Roseville.
Sgt. Stroud wasn't seriously hurt, but Sgt. Torgerson suffered serious injuries and is still working on his recovery.
"We just wanted to come out and make sure we support the family and show we're there for them in there time of need. They were there for us, he was a military vet, and we appreciate that."
Enrico Taylor, 52, faces multiple charges for the crash.
