MINNEAPOLIS - A Minnesota business, Locally Laid Egg Company, is one of four from across the nation that made the cut in Intuit's Super Bowl ad competition.
Locally Laid Egg beat out more than 10,000 other businesses.
More than just a funny name, Locally Laid's owner, Jason Amundsen, is eager to use the platform to spread the message about the nutritional benefits of hens on pasture, sustainable agriculture and the local food movement.
Locally Laid's chickens are pasture-raised and the eggs are only distributed within a few hundred miles of the farm. Additionally, with each delivery, a donation is made to plant a tree in Minnesota's northwoods.
Voting will open on Nov. 11 at www.smallbusinessbiggame.com.
The winner will receive an ad worth more than $4 million.
