Cracking down on human trafficking in MN

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The FBI says the Twin Cities are among the top 13 places for sex trafficking.

Next year, a new law goes into effect in Minnesota aimed at helping youth victims of sex trafficking.

Luis CdeBaca is the Ambassador at Large of the U.S. State Department's anti-human trafficking office, and joined KARE 11 Sunrise to discuss efforts to crackdown on trafficking on the state and national level.

CdeBaca is in the Twin Cities to speak at the Minnesota Women's Foundation Conference November 18 and 19.
