MINNEAPOLIS - Police say one person is dead and three others are injured following an overnight shooting at a restaurant on Lake Street in Minneapolis.
Officers were called to La Que Buena on the 1600 block of East Lake Street just after 1:30 a.m. Monday. Three shooting victims were found at the scene, including one who was pronounced dead. The two other victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). Police said they are expected to survive.
A fourth victim arrived at HCMC a short time later on their own; officers said that person is also expected to survive.
Investigators say early information shows one suspect approached the restaurant and shot into a group of people from outside the building before fleeing.
"We are trying to determine if this was indeed a gang-related shooting," said inspector Michael Sullivan.
Minneapolis police said no one is in custody at this time.
