MINNEAPOLIS - A Minnesota business, Locally Laid Egg Company, is one of four from across the nation made the cut in Intuit's Super Bowl ad competition. And, you can help them it all the way to the big game.
Locally Laid Egg beat out more than 10,000 other businesses.
More than just a funny name, Locally Laid's owner, Jason Amundsen, is eager to use the platform to spread the message about the nutritional benefits of hens on pasture, sustainable agriculture and the local food movement.
Amundsen and Lola the chicken joined KARE 11 Meteorologist Sven Sundgaard in the Backyard, this morning.
Locally Laid's chickens are pasture-raised and the eggs are only distributed within a few hundred miles of the farm. Additionally, with each delivery, a donation is made to plant a tree in Minnesota's northwoods.
Voting ends Dec. 3 at www.smallbusinessbiggame.com.
The winner will receive an ad worth more than $4 million.
