BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - More than 4,000 people filled the Mall of America in a touching tribute to a young Minnesota musician.
They sang Zach Sobiech's song "Clouds."
Zach Sobiech was 18 when he died from osteosarcoma in May. Before he died, he turned to writing music and his farewell song, "Clouds," became a hit.
The mass sing-along marked the first anniversary of the debut song.
The song captivated people in Minnesota and around the world.
The music video has had more than eight million views on YouTube, and the song has been No. 1 on iTunes.
The event benefited the Children's Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children's Healthcare.
