Scott Seroka joined KARE 11 News in January 2007. As a college junior, Scott got a job as a photojournalist at a network affiliate in La Crosse, Wis., and never looked back. After graduating, he started as a reporter in Wausau, Wis. His next stop was another two hours east to Green Bay, where he worked for three years as an anchor and reporter.
Scott also worked as a reporter here in the Twin Cities for two-and-a-half years before coming to KARE. He has won several Associated Press, National Press Photographer Association and Wisconsin Broadcaster awards. In his spare time, Scott enjoys traveling and playing Minnesota's great golf courses.

Why do you like your job?: It's a good chance to meet new people and learn new things every day. Plus, I'm rarely stuck behind a desk.
Dream story: 18 holes with Tiger Woods or a trip to the International Space Station.
Family: My wife Rachel, daughter and I live in Hudson, Wis., with our two cats. My parents Tim and Sunee live in Stillwater, Minn., my sister Tammy, in St. Paul, Minn.
