A search team has recovered the bodies of two divers who apparently ran out of air while exploring a Florida cave system on Tuesday. The men were identified as Joseph Christian Hartranft, 52, of and Lt. Col. Yessic Cozay Spencer, 42, a Marine from Gainesville based at MacDill Air Force Base. The bodies were pulled out of the sinkhole near the town of Hudson Wednesday afternoon. The cave system where they died is hundreds of feet deep and branches out six miles. Investigators say the teams recovered the missing divers within 30 minutes of their search, finding one body near the entrance of the site and the other in a side tunnel. Deputies say one of the divers trucks was parked next to the sinkhole. A sheriff's spokesman says the men had permission to dive on the property, but it is unclear whether they had proper certification. Pasco investigators say just a couple of months ago there was another accident in the same location when a drunk woman jumped in the sinkhole and died.
