MINNEAPOLIS - Overnight arctic air starts to settle into the area. Winds will remain very strong throughout the night out of the west/northwest 10-20 mph.
Temperatures will drop into the single digits by Thursday mid morning with winds howling from the north/northwest 10-20 mph with wind chill values near -10 throughout the day. Temps will remain in the single digits for daytime highs through Saturday.
Our first subzero low Thursday night. Friday morning wind chills will be around -20 with highs only around 5 Friday afternoon.
Temperatures rebound a bit on Sunday with some light snow possible late in the day.
