MINNEAPOLIS - Clouds will thicken up during the overnight. Light snow showers are going to develop late, closer to day-break Sunday morning. Temperatures will fall to near -5 degrees with light south winds at 3 to 5 mph.
Look for snow showers throughout the day Sunday. As much at 2" to 4" of fluffy snow is possible by late Sunday evening. Temperatures won't be as cold reaching the lower teens - southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.
The frigid air returns Monday. Highs retreat to the single-digits with overnight lows below zero through Wednesday. We'll see a slight rebound in temps late-week. Expect highs in the teens Thursday and lower 20s Friday.
