MINNEAPOLIS - A Wind Chill Advisory is effect tonight for the region. Actual air temperatures are going to fall to near -5 by Friday morning with west winds at 10 to 15 mph. That will produce wind chill values of -15 to -25 degrees at times.
Look for cold sunshine Friday. Temperatures will top out between 0 and 5 degrees above zero West winds of 10 to 15 mph will create wind chills of -5 to -15 degrees.
Get ready for a cold weekend. Expect cold sunshine and a high of 2 degrees Saturday. We'll "warm" up into the teens Sunday with a chance of light snow.
The deep freeze continues next week. We're back into the single-digits for highs starting Monday with overnight lows between -5 and -10. Models are hinting at a slight warm up by the end of the week.
