GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- Revé 324 is a new restaurant in Stillwater. Chef and co-owner Nate Utsch has created a menu like no other in downtown Stillwater. You can find everything from burgers, to pizza, steak and sandwiches at Revé 324.
This morning Nate shared his recipe for Black Sesame Seared Tuna Appetizer.

Black Sesame Seared Tuna Appetizer
For the Thai Peanut Salad:
4 or 5 oz. linguini (boiled and chilled)
1/2 oz. slivered carrots
1/2 oz. slivered celery
1/2 oz. slivered red bell pepper
2 oz Thai Peanut sauce
In a medium sized bowl, combine all ingredients thoroughly and twist onto the center of a plate. Set aside.
For the Tuna:
1 - 6 oz Ahi Tuna Steak
2 T. toasted black sesame seeds
1/2 T. honey
1 T. olive oil for searing
2 oz. teriyaki glaze
2 oz. peanuts
salt and pepper to taste
Over high heat, preheat pan with the olive oil in it. Salt and pepper the Tuna to taste. Hard sear each side of the Tuna for 10-15 seconds. Take out of pan and coat one side with the honey and place in the toasted sesame seeds to coat. Let rest for 30 seconds. Slice thinly and fan over Thai Peanut Salad. Garnish with oranges, peanuts, and teriyaki glaze.
