RICE, Minn. --  A scary experience for a Rice woman early Friday morning.

Brittany Quistorff, 23, was driving north of Sartell on Benton County Rd. 1 when lightning struck her red Chevy Cavalier.

She thinks it struck the rear antenna first and then exited through the tires.

She wasn't hurt, but said she was badly shaken.

"I did go to the doctor, and even today I am having chest pains.  They checked my heart and they said it's probably anxiety," Quistorff said.

She said the car starts but doesn't yet know if it's safe to drive.

If it is driveable, she'll give it to her husband because she said she doesn't want to drive it ever again.

"It's probably the scariest thing that happened to me in my life," Quistorff said.
