GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- One could say that comedian C. Willi Myles sweats the small stuff, but Willi is the first to admit that he sweats just about EVERYTHING.
"I'm not made for TV," says Willi. "I'm not made for the bright lights, I tend to sweat. And reading a teleprompter? Out of the question."
Good thing Willi's bit is comedy, where he's cool as the proverbial cucumber and as flat-out funny as they come.
Like most comics, Willi spends much of the year outside the Twin Cities, but he stopped by our KARE-11 studios to promote a series of shows he'll be performig in town.
Willi's annual holiday tradition is to play a series of shows at the 'Acme Comedy Club' around Thanksgiving, and this year is no exception. Willi's act, "It Had To Be Said" plays next Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, giving local comedy fans their best annual shot to see a man who has become a fixture in the Twin Cities comedy scene.
Why has C. Willi Myles been able to sustain a career at the top of the local comedy scene? Because Willi sweats the small stuff, of course!
