BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Three men from Minneapolis were shot in the parking lot of a Bloomington restaurant early Monday morning and authorities are seeking suspects.
Bloomington Police say the triple shooting happened at 3 a.m. at the IHOP located at 2231 Killebrew Drive near the Mall of America.
Only two of the three shot were transported to the hospital.
One man was shot multiple times in his lower body and another man was shot in the leg. Those two were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. A third man suffered a superficial wound and was not transported.
Officials say all three men, age 19, 20 and 21, suffered non-life threatening injuries are currently in stable condition.
Police say a party bus dropped off about 25 people at the IHOP parking lot. Some in the group were in the restaurant and others were standing outside when a car pulled up and multiple gunshots were fired near the front entrance.
Authorities are still trying to identify the suspect or suspects but do not have a description of the vehicle.
Cmdr. Mark Stehlik of the Bloomington Police Department told KARE 11 this does not appear to be a random act.
Stehlik also told KARE 11 they are trying to determine if the shooting is connected to a stabbing at Karma, a Minneapolis nightclub, earlier Sunday evening.
IHOP did not sustain any damage from the shooting and is open for business.
