MARSHALL, Minn. -- The family of a Marshall teenager who was part of an apparent "suicide pact" says bullying may have figured in her tragic decision.

Lyon County sheriff's deputies were called to a home in Island Lake Township on Saturday where they found Haylee Fentress and Paige Moravetz dead. Family members say both 14-year-olds had hanged themselves.

Haylee's aunt says the girl sent her messages on Facebook in the days before the suicides, saying she was being bullied by kids at Marshall Middle school because of her weight and red hair.

Things were made worse when Haylee was suspended from school for being involved in a fight. The teen says she was simply trying to break the trouble up, and messaged her aunt saying "I don't know what to do, I'm so sad, and feel lonely."

Administrators at Marshall Middle School haven't commented yet on the bullying allegations.

Today Show host Meredith Viera talked to relatives of both girls on the show Thursday to learn more about them and their young lives, which ended too soon.
