OAKDALE, Minn. -- Police have found the bodies of three people in a home in Oakdale, the result of an apparent murder-suicide.
Family members and neighbors on the scene told KARE 11 that a 6-year-old girl walked into her home to find that her parents and nanny were dead. She then ran next door to tell a neighbor.
"She kept saying, 'my mommy and daddy are dead, where am I going to live, I'm going to have to live with my Grandpa,'" said Kelsie Treague, a neighbor.
The Associated Press has identified the three as 38-year-old Jaime Vasquez and 28-year-old Cynthia Ornelas and their baby sitter, 43-year-old Angela Uscanga. Family members say the couple owned All Seasons Siding and Roofing.
Relatives say the couple had three children: ages 3, 6, and 8. They believe the 3-year-old was in the house when the three people died.
"I just feel for the kids - all three of them," said Julie Hartman, a neighbor.
Relatives say they also didn't see any signs of domestic turmoil.
"They were always laughing and having a good time," said Cesar Zagal, the female victim's cousin.
Oakdale police received the report about a possible death at a home just after 4 p.m. Thursday.
A police spokesperson says police are interviewing witnesses but are not looking for any suspects at this time.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension will help in the investigation.
