Halloween Tricks and TREATS - Chocolate whip cream cake smothered in hot fudge

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- This weekend may bring some tricks but for some special treats, head to Wuollet Bakery's Grand Avenue location or any other Wuollet location in the metro. Audrey is here to show us how to make a chocolate whip cream cake smothered in hot fudge.

Chocolate Cake
2 ½ cups flour
2 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup Buttermilk
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups Sugar
½ cup Cocoa
2 eggs
1 cup oil

Mix ingredients together, at slow speed.  When all ingredients are incorporated, mix for ½ minute on higher speed.

Add:
1 cup boiling water
Mix until smooth.
Bake @ 350° for 45-50 minutes.

Filling
3 cups Heavy cream
¼ cup powdered sugar
splash of vanilla (if desired)

Topping
1 - 16oz. jar Mrs. Richardson's Hot Fudge topping
