GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Now that the holidays are upon us, many will be celebrating with some spirits. Mixologist Dean Phillips joined us on KARE News @4 and served up some new favorites.

Apple Crisp
• 1 oz. UV Cake
• 1 oz. Revel Stoke Spiced Whisky
• ½ oz. Maple Syrup
• 2 oz. Apple Juice

Shake all ingredients over ice, strain into a martini glass and top with a dash of cinnamon.

Stoked Eggnog
• 2 oz Revel Stoke
• 1 oz milk
• 1/2 oz simple syrup
• 1 whole egg

Pour the milk, whisky, simple syrup and egg into a cocktail shaker without ice cubes. Shake well 10-20 seconds). Then add ice, shake again (5 seconds). Strain into an old-fashioned glass, garnish with a dash nutmeg.

UV Tiramisu Martini
• 1.5 ounces UV Cake
• 1.5 ounces Trader Vic's Chocolate Liqueur
• 1.5 ounces Trader Vic's Kona Coffee Liqueur

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Rim martini glass in espresso powder. Strain contents of shaker into martini glass to serve.

Prairie Gingersnap
• 2 ounces Prairie Vodka
• 1 ounce Amaretto liqueur
• 1/2 ounce simple syrup
• 1 teaspoon molasses
• 2 1/4-inch thick slices of fresh ginger
• A pinch of cinnamon, cloves & allspice
• Crystallized ginger, for garnish

In the bottom of a cocktail shaker place the ginger, molasses, simple syrup and spices, muddle well. Add ice and the rest of the ingredients. Shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with crystallized ginger.

Peppermint schnapps can be served with hot chocolate, coffee or with OJ, called a "Shindig" - a classic American recipe.
