CORCORAN, Minn. - A woman who was pulled over Thursday night in Corcoran was stopped by a man allegedly pretending to be a police officer.
The Hennepin County sheriff's office says a man with a black and white car and a "red 'bubble' light on top" made a traffic stop near County Road 116 and Larkin Road in Corcoran.
The suspect is decribed as a white male in his mid-30s, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. He had dark hair with a black and white beard and no mustache.
The man was also described as having puffy red skin around his eyes and "a low voice that sounded as though he had a sore throat."
The suspect was wearing a dark colored shirt with no markings typical of a police uniform.

The sheriff's office warns motorists should consider using precautions when an officer in an unmarked vehicle is conducting a traffic stop. Look for an official uniform, department identification, and badge. If something doesn't feel right, call 911.
