Bloomingdale's at Mall of America
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Mall of America is losing one of its anchor stores.
Bloomingdale's confirmed the store will be closing. A spokesperson from Bloomingdale's said they cannot release more information until after notifying employees.
Bloomingdale's is located at the southeast corner of the Mall of America. According to Wikipedia, Bloomingdale's occupies 210,000 square feet at the mall.
The store was one of the mall's original tenants when it opened in 1992 and is the first original anchor store to close.
The Mall of America location is the only Bloomingdale's in Minnesota.
