MINNEAPOLIS - An 84-year-old man from Reno, Nevada, has been ordered to pay a fine and apologize to a paramedic he was convicted of groping during a flight.

Court papers state Robert M. Lee was flying to a hospital in Rochester on September 21, 2010 under the care of a paramedic and a registered nurse. The paramedic said Lee grabbed and twisted her breast after she helped him back to his seat.

When the woman told Lee not to touch her, he replied "I can do whatever I want, this is my airplane."

On Wednesday, Lee was sentenced to 180 days of probation, including 30 days of home confinement, along with 60 hours of community service in U.S. federal court in Minneapolis.

U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Arthur J. Boylan also ordered Lee to pay a $5,000 fine, provide the victim with $431.25 in restitution and write her a letter of apology.

Magistrate Judge Boylan called Lee's behavior "arrogant and offensive."
