MINNEAPOLIS - Snow showers will push through midday Friday.  This system will be brief and at the most we will have a quick 1"-2" of snow left behind by dinner time Friday night.  Colder air will push in later Friday and chill us down for the weekend.

Temperatures will drop Saturday to a seasonal average in the mid 20s for highs and then down through the upper teens for Sunday.

A mix of sun and clouds on Saturday with a few lingering flurries and then more sunshine on tap on Sunday.

Looking ahead into next week, not only brings us a new month on the calendar but also a shot of snow.  The pattern is a bit "noisy" as forecasters are known to say, but it does involve a couple of chances that we will get close enough to the storm track to recieve some snow.  Right now it looks like the best shot is late Tuesday and again on Thursday.  Stay tuned.
Have a good weekend.
