RED WING, Minn. -- A Canadian Pacific train derailed along the Mississippi River in Red Wing Sunday morning leaving 19 train cars off the track.
Red Wing Police say the freight train was heading north around 9:40 a.m. when the cars derailed. All the train cars were empty and no one was injured.
A Canadian Pacific spokesperson says it is too early to determine the cause of the derailment and the company will investigate.
