MELBOURNE, Australia - Police in Melbourne, Australia have some experience in chasing fleeing suspects.
Most, however, are easier to catch than one that made them look a bit foolish Monday.
A runaway goat led officers on a wild chase through busy drive-time traffic, causing delays and widespread gawking.
Police first tried to grab the goat's collar, then attempted to throw nets over her. Eventually they were able to corner the runaway beast and take her to a local animal shelter.
Volunteers there have temporarily named her "Houdini," after the legendary escape artist.
No one knows where the runaway goat came from, but police believe it is the same animal spotted in two locations last week.
