MINNEAPOLIS -- Believe it or not, we actually have a chance of snow Monday!  A large system is going to slide through the central plains.  Only the northern fringes of this storm will graze the metro.

Look for increasing clouds Monday afternoon with the best chance of light snow during the late afternoon and early evening hours.  Snow accumulations are going to be minimal at best.  Folks in southeast Minnesota stand the best chance of picking up an inch or so of snow.

Temperatures are forecast to reach the lower 30s Monday afternoon.  Mild and quiet weather rules the rest of week through the weekend.  Skies are going to be partly cloudy to partly sunny each day through Sunday.  Highs rise into the mid and upper 30s Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

We'll see a brief and subtle cool-down Friday with temperatures near 30 degrees.  Expect lower and middle 30s this weekend.
