ROME - Italian authorities say divers searching the capsized Costa Concordia cruise ship have spotted four more bodies in a submerged section of a passenger deck.
The national civil protection agency, which is monitoring the operation, said the bodies were sighted Wednesday afternoon, a few hours after four other bodies were found.
Because of worsening weather, only three of the bodies were immediately recovered, that of a woman, a man and a child.
Italian news reports said the body of a 5-year-old Italian girl was among those found. Dayana Arlotti was on the cruise with her father and his girlfriend. The child's father is also believed dead, but the girlfriend survived the tragedy.
There is no word as to whether Minnesotans Gerald and Barb Heil are among those found.
The Concordia struck a reef near the Tuscan island of Giglio on Jan. 13 and capsized. Seventeen bodies from the ship have been found, but 15 people are still listed as missing.
The number of dead and those missing and presumed dead stands at 32.
