MINNEAPOLIS -- A shooting in north Minneapolis Saturday night has left one person dead.
Officers were called to a residence on the 2600 block of Emerson Avenue North for an apparent shooting around 10:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in critical condition where he later died early Sunday morning.
Police detained several people at the scene but no one is under arrest in connection with the shooting at this time.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
