MINNEAPOLIS - Injured Benilde-St. Margarat's hockey player Jack Jablonski took another big step in his rehabilitation from a spinal cord injury.

According to a Tweet sent out Wednesday night, Jablonski had his neck brace taken off. A TwitPic accompanied the Tweet showing Jablonski free of the brace and smiling.

Jablonski suffered a paralyzing injury during a junior varsity hockey game in December.

The halo was removed from around his head in March.

Jablonski is rehabbing at Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
