BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Insurance estimators are tallying up the damage to a home in Burnsville after an overnight fire Thursday.
Fire crews were called to the 13500 block of Nicollet Lane around 2 a.m. and found flames leaping from the attached garage. Eventually fire made its way into the home, doing an undetermined amount of damage before crews were able to extinguish the flames.
Those on the scene say the garage is heavily damaged, while the home is likely salvageable.
Six people were in the house at the time of the fire; all made it out safely.
Burnsville firefighters were assisted by crews from Apple Valley.
