ST. PAUL - Some of the best bicycle racers in the world are hitting the pavement in St. Paul.
The 14th annual Nature Valley Grand Prix kicked off with a time trial along the Mississippi River on Wednesday. Racing continues in St. Paul Wednesday night for the St. Paul Criterium.
From St. Paul , the 5 day race heads to Cannon Falls, Minneapolis and Menomonie, WI before wrapping up in Stillwater on Sunday.
All races are free to attend and feature several events for fans, including kids races in each city.
All proceeds from the race benefit Children's Lighthouse of Minnesota, the first pediatric hospice service in the Uppwer Midwest.
