NEAR NEW ULM, Minn. - One young man is dead and another is hospitalized after a rollover in Nicollet County near New Ulm Monday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the two men were in a 1999 Ford Superduty pickup driving eastbound on Highway 14 when the truck veered onto the shoulder, skidded across County Road 25, entered a field and rolled just before 10:30 p.m.
The two men inside were ejected from the truck. One, a 19-year-old man from Albany, was dead on the scene. The other, a 21-year-old man from Little Falls, was taken to a hospital in New Ulm where he is being treated for what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.
